Brother Knights, Queens and Friends,
This is my first article to you as your new Grand Knight and the first thing I need to do is to thank you all for your kind words of support and encouragement since my election. I also need to thank our immediate Past Grand Knight John Buckler for his outstanding leadership and mentoring over the past year. He led us well through some tough times and has left us ready to move forward. We keep him in our prayers as he faces his current challenges.

I thank all of them for their willingness to serve our Council, some for the first time and others for once again stepping forward to help us out.
As we go through this year I’m sure many more of you will step forward, or be asked to step forward to assist us in various ways. As knights we are all specially called to serve our Church, our Council, our Community, our Families and our Youth. I would ask each of you to be active in your areas of interest and if you have ideas for thing we can do, or can do better, please feel free to let me know so that this Council and its activities can grow and be a source of support and pride for all of us.
My pledge to all of you this year is to do my best to serve each and every one of you and our Council. To do this I ask for your prayers and your active support as we enjoy this year together.
